JENNIFER ANISTON Covers Elle Magazine September 2009; Dishes on Love Woes

Jennifer Aniston is striking a sexy, shirtless pose for Elle magazine in the coveted September issue and she’s dishing on her love life.

I don’t’ think there is a person out there who isn’t rooting for Jennifer Aniston in her quest for love and happiness. She’s gorgeous, fun, stylish, and has a ricking body. So why does it seem that she NEVER dates the right guys? John Mayer, Vince Vaughn, Brad Pitt, none of her relationships have stood the test of time. Aniston handles the topic with grace and humor saying, “I’m not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room. It’s fine. I can take it.” Aniston said, “If I’m the emblem for ‘this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,’ so be it.” Somehow I never pictured her as the lonely girl.

aniston-elle-bjennifer-aniston-elle-septemberThe world is obsessed with her love life: “I can make fun of myself,” she said. “And I’ll bring it up as long as the world is bringing it up.” Humor has long been Aniston’s strong suit and has gotten her through the tough times. Aniston told Elle that her love woes are nothing compared with the “brick walls” she’s had to break through from her childhood. The hardest part: “My dad walking out and not seeing him for a year and not knowing where he was . . . Trying to understand, ‘Where did that person go?’ ” she explained. Aniston’s actor parents, Nancy Dow and John Aniston, split when she was 9. She has been estranged from her mother for years, but recently began the process of reconciling.

We’re all rooting for her

  1. She needs to get away from the Hollywood men and go for a “regular” guy. Stop trying to chase glitz and glamour, Jennifer! If you look for superficial traits (just being famous, handsome, wealthy) then you’ll get superficial results! Duh!

  2. She is smoking hot…Angelina doesn’t hold a candle to her. I’m sure Brad is thinking, “I thought the grass was greener….but it is painted concrete.”

  3. great post! very well said. i so agree with you.
    btw, i can’t believe she’s 40. she’s gorgeous.
