PageSix is reporting that PR powerhouse LIZZIE Grubman has turned down the chance to become one of “The Real Housewives of New York City.” The original “Power Girl” said producers of the reality show recently called but she turned them down.
The network is looking to replace Bethenny Frankel, who’s getting her own show in addition to possibly replacing one or two cast members who are demanding bigger salaries. “I absolutely love the show, but I have no interest whatsoever,” Grubman told Page Six. “At this point in my life, I’m too busy with two beautiful young sons and my p.r. company and my management company.”

Perhaps an appropriate name for the book should have been “The Devil Represents Prada” by the sound of it. Lizzie Grubman once had an assistant named Robert Rave and he has now published a tell-all about a young man working for a fearsome PR dragon. I wonder where he came up wit that idea?

If anything, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Anna Wintour handled the press for “The Devil Wears Prada” so perfectly that she even attended the premiere of the screening. I’ll definitely read the book, but it won’t change my opinion of Lizzie. Anna is still my idol and Lizzie will always be my “Power Girl.”
