Harry Potter stars descended on New York City for the second red carpet event to promote the new film following Tuesday’s world premiere in London of “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince”.
Once again, Emma Watson (Hermoine Granger) showed up in a head-turning, risqué all-in-one black and white leather halter neck dress by Proenza Schouler Resort 2010.
This is the second time Watson has worn a piece from the same collection on the red carpet, the first time being when she attended an event for the movie last week. The sexy, halter top dress had a black leather bodice, white pencil skirt, and dove grey waist trim. To complete the look, Emma paired the dress with strappy heels from Proenza Schouler and soft, blown out hair. Her look was edgier and unexpected, since she usually favors a softer palette, but for a NYC premiere it was right on. Watson is now a front row regular at fashion shows and recently turned to modeling in her new role as the face of Burberry.
Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy) had his beautiful girlfriend on his arm, Jade Olivia. The couple coordinated outfits, both donning grey with Felton showing off his youth with an undone bow tie. Olivia looked fabulous and gave Watson competition on the red carpet in the style department. Jade, who works in the film industry, was dressed in a figure-hugging short grey floral mini dress. The sexy brunette was first pictured with Felton, 21, last July at the Dark Knight premiere in London. Felton has posted messages on his Twitter page about being ‘exhausted’ after jetting from the world Premiere in London on Tuesday for a press junket in Canada, before hitting the New York premiere last night.
Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), who managed to stay dry at last nights premiere, showed what a handsome young man he has become in a smart grey suit. Radcliffe, who will turn 20 at the end of the month, revealed that he has enjoyed his teenage years far too much. He was later rewarded with a hand-held vacuum by the host after admitting he can be quite messy. Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) dressed down in a colorful t-shirt paired with a dark suit.
Bewitching Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley) plays Harry’s love interest in the film and looked absolutely stunning on the red carpet. Wright wore a black v-neck dress paired with bold red shoes and red lips to match. Simply stunning!
Also, in attendance at the Ziegfeld Theatre was Sir Michael Gambon (Dumbledore), Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick), and Alan Rickman (Snape).
