MORNING COFFEE II: Life & Death: Sarah Jessica Parker’s Twins Arrive; Ed McMahon Passes Away

sjpDouble the congratulations are in order for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, as news station WTRF reports that the couples’ twins via surrogate arrived last night at the East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, Ohio. The couple are with the surrogate at the hospital now and are expected to announce the births later this afternoon. The twin girls will increase their brood since they already have a son, James Wilkie, who is 6-years-old.

Security is tight at the hospital and additional guards have reportedly been brought in to manage crowd control once word spreads. The joyous news comes after as an investigation is underway surrounding the Martins Ferry Police Chief and nearby Chief Chad Dojack who allegedly conspired to break into the home belonging to surrogate mother and take pictures of plaster mold the woman had made outlining her pregnant belly.

edEd McMahon, the most famous sidekick in television history working alongside legendary host Johnny Carson on ‘The Tonight Show,’ has passed away. He was 86-years-old. McMahon’s death came after years of financial turmoil, a threatened foreclosure on his home, and a terrible fall that resulted in a broken neck.

McMahon died early Tuesday at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center surrounded by his family. Although no cause of death was given, his publicist said he battled a “multitude of health problems the last few months.”

McMahon will forever be known as Johnny Carson’s announcer and comedic partner and for three decades he introduced Carson nightly with his famous “Heeeeere’s Johnnnny.” He remained with the show until Carson retired in 1992.
