Harry Potter’s Emma Watson: Classic Beauty in New Burberry Ad’s

burberry1WOW! Today, actress Emma Watson was unveiled as the face of Burberry and you can see by the pictures that she’s grown into a classic beauty. Photographed by Mario Testino, Watson shed her frumpy Harry Potter robes for a more glamorous Burberry trench from the autumn/winter collection. With smoky eyes, pale lips and tasseled hair, Watson looks sultry in Burberry’s signature check.

This is the first major advertising campaign for the 19-year-old star that follows in the footsteps of top models KATE MOSS, AGYNESS DEYN and STELLA TENNANT.

burberry3Shot by Mario Testino in Westminster, close to Burberry’s headquarters at Horseferry House, the images capture Watson in a collection inspired by Virginia Woolf and the Bloomsbury set. Burberry’s creative director Christopher Bailey said: ‘Having known and admired the lovely Emma Watson for quite some time, she was the obvious choice for this campaign. Emma has a classic beauty, a great character and a modern edge. Her charm, intellect and brilliant sense of fun made the whole shoot feel like a picnic on the Thames.’ He added: ‘I felt Emma would be strong enough to hold the campaign as the only girl, and I loved the idea of her being surrounded by these young, cool British guys.’

I am in LOVE with the brown leather trim bag (left) with buckle hardware and a deep winter toned Burberry check. And how about the rich leather belted trench with large collar. This look guarantees to be the envy of women everywhere.

Watson first appeared as Hermione Granger alongside Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint in Harry Potter And The Philosopher’s Stone in 2001. The sixth film Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince is released on July 15.
